WHITE-THROATED ROCK-THRUSH

Post by wmw998 on Wed Apr 09, 2014 12:56 am

Finally, got both male and female.
Female taken with Canon 1DMK4, male with 1DX. Somehow, I still prefer my MK4 with 1.3 crop factor, although 1DX handles noise extremely well.

Taken with new Canon 600mm and IDX

Not used to cropping too much, so have to learn to go nearer to the birds. 800 with TC and F8.....tok boleh lah, cannot work when light is insufficient.

Nelson, with IDX, I could even take the Nightjar on lamp post at night outside my house, the night focusing is so good, so much better than MK4.
