WARMING UP........

Post by wmw998 on Wed Nov 13, 2013 11:06 pm

Have not been birding for quite a while due to work commitment. To re-start, and in preparation for my end of year trip to Thailand, it is better to exercise and warm up my gear, and my fingers first, almost rusty....... !
Nothing exotic here, just a common bird or two, taken in Berjaya Hills.

Bumped into this one by chance......

Love the beautiful series of the Spiderhunter photos! Shots as great as before, don't see any rustiness.

It is good to have a rest. I also rested for few months until I got my Canon gears 2 months ago. Now I am a newbie again Razz

Makus, too much rest can also mean losing interest, not good leh ! So, now you are on the White side, have you started exercising the equipment yet ?

Will watch out for the Siberian BR for you. Damn angry with the idiots at Berjaya Hills, would you believe, they have chopped down the fruiting trees at the Japanese Tea House? I was so shocked, and pissed when I went there to look for Barbets and migratory birds. The lights at nursery were also not functioning, and again, I had offered to pay for the restoration. Lets see if they are functioning this coming weekend.

I will be going to Doi Inthanon again. My last trip to KKC National Park was not so good, except for the oldman's hide at foothill.

After the long rest, now I am excited to shoot any birds, even the common ones.
I am still trying to get familiar with all the new settings. I had some good exercises shooting the migratory raptors in South Thailand. So far so good, no regret Razz
