Mountain Bamboo Partridge

Post by hawkeyes on Sun Feb 03, 2013 3:05 pm

I would like to share a few record shots of the Mountain Bamboo Partridge photographed
at Doi Lang recently. I spent 2 morning waiting for the subject. The first morning, the subject did not appear on the location due to many photographers around. The second day was a Monday, most of the photographers went home already Very Happy, only a few left at the location. The subject came out and entertained us.

Better than nothing. We were always late and local photographer already there so we just passby. Sigh!

What time did the patridge came out normally?

By 7.30 am we have already set up and settled in the blind. The most active time is from 8.00 till 9.00 am.

That why I feel that a local guide who know the local bird activities is very essential in oversea trip. They know the local
places, information and networking. Since we have spent so much on airfare, lodging and transportation, might as well pay extra more for local guide service to get extra returns. Very Happy
