Whiskered Yuhina

Post by hawkeyes on Wed Jan 23, 2013 10:34 pm

My favorite subject at Doi Lang, the Whiskered Yuhina.
I found this fella fed on the flower nectar behind the army camp. It was difficult to shoot as the subject was blocked by twigs.

5Dmk3, EF800 IS, ISO1000 F8 AP mode.

I found most of my shots were blur due to wrong ISO setting. Sad

I set to 1000. It should be 1600, the lower shutter speed caused motion blur. The Whiskered Yuhina does not perch still, it always likes to move around, the shutter speed on 1/100 to 1/200 was unable to freeze the subject.

I see... your 5D mark3, the ISO is good..... if 7D iso1600 will be out
